DJ JOE MAZ

Joe Maz is nationally recognized within the group DISCOTECH as one of the best remixing teams in the country. Since joining Crooklyn Clan DISCOTECH has established themselves as one of the strongest forces in the game. DISCOTECH remixes are played consistently by thousands of DJs across the country and some of the biggest names in the game such as DJ AM, DJ Vice, Crooklyn Clan, Kevin Scott, DJ Five, and Scotty Boy. Remixing music of many different genres, Joe has proven his knowledge of music extends far beyond the normal boundaries.

Hailing from Minneapolis, Joe has been making a name for himself for years and most recently was voted the #1 DJ in the city for 2007. He also holds down a drive time mixshow for the #1 Hip Hop station, KTTB 96.3 FM. Joe has also held a year-long residency at Aqua Nightclub (also ranked #1 in Minneapolis), but his reach extends far beyond Minnesota. Joe along with his DISCOTECH partner Danny Daze (Miami), have been touring the country with stops at Slide in San Francisco, Home in NYC, Tabu in Las Vegas and Shadow Bar in Houston.

Joe has is also currently involved with a new record label called “Four to the Floor” headed by RCA Records mogul Hosh Gureli. With the label, Joe has been touring the country headlining events in Chicago, LA, and Miami. He has also begun production work with the label and a 2008 compilation cd is will be distributed nationwide in the near future.
